Millions of people around the world suffer from headaches. Headache is an unpleasant experience that occurs daily. It can be accompanied by pain shoulder blades, dizziness, and ringing in the ears. It is often called migraine although that is not always its real name.

Incidence of headache: headaches are considered one of the most common illnesses, affecting 16% of the general population. The three main types of headache are migraine, tension-type headaches, and cervico-genic headaches. With the last two types, people usually complain about pain that starts in the neck and ascends to the head, with pain that can radiate to the eye and the temples and sometimes even into the ear. In cases of headaches after a whiplash injury, the person may complain of tinnitus and pain in the shoulder blades more than with migraines. Some describe a feeling of warm fluid in the ear despite assurance from an ENT doctor that nothing is wrong. Sometimes headaches radiate to the jaw and behind the ear, with or without tinnitus. Headaches can occur as pressure on one side or both sides of the head, but can also be a point headache that moves from place to place.

There are many causes of headaches

Headaches may result from vascular causes , infections , anxiety , headache, neck vertebrae and muscles, sinusitis , metabolic problems , tumors, soft tissue and fascia, intracranial pressure, etc.

Description of headaches

A headache is a subjective feeling, each person interprets it differently. Also, there are different types of headaches and so a detailed medical history is necessary for a specialist to come to a correct diagnosis about the type of headache. Headache may be throbbing, stabbing or burning, superficial or deep, dull or sharp like a knife.

How are cervico-genic headaches treated?

Headache treatment is done by adjusting the spinal vertebrae, muscle and fascia. This palpation helps identify the location of the problem that could be causing headaches that last for months. If these headaches focus on the neck vertebrae, the problem is often expressed specifically by pain in the shoulder blades. Gentle pressure with a force of 100-200 g in the fascia joints or stronger pressure to release the fascia stuck to the muscle, may reduce the intensity of a headache within a few minutes. If there is resistance in the muscle, dry needling deep into the muscle can help greatly to reduce the headaches. Not get to get confused, the pain sits very strongly at these points it and can take time to teach the brain to do without it, a though it will be easier, it will still be up to the person to manage and dismantle the relations established between the tissues, so the new healthy new tissue will thrive.

The method of treatment combining may help cure and prevent headaches

Exercises in balance, coordination and strengthening the muscles using the ‘Zur Balance’ method, may help speed up the healing and regeneration of damaged tissue, heal the muscles and return the joint to proper functioning. If you have headaches and have not yet tried it, do not say there is no solution. It is important to remember that in cases of migraines, pills are important to help the blood vessels to contract and expand. Together with this, several events may cause a migraine attack. Some of them are related to stress and strain in the upper back and neck muscles and stress in general. Treatment that balances these areas may prevent headaches or delay the next attack and reduce the number of monthly attacks or their strength.
